Thousand Jr. Helmet

Thousand's Jr. helmet looks just like their Heritage helmet line, but in a scaled down version designed just for kids from 5-11 years old. Thousand Jr. is all about FUN: each helmet includes a pack of reflective, removable stickers so kids can customize their helmet and make it their own.

This helmet (Thousand calls it "Extra Small") is one-size-fits-most kids and is designed to grow with your child, accomodating head sizes from 49-53cm. When your child reaches 54cm, they'll graduate to the Thousand Heritage adult helmet. 

Like the adult version, this helmet features a magnetic buckle that won't pinch. It's even approved for bike riding, skateboarding, or roller skating to maximize value.

How it fits

Use a flexible measuring tape to measure the circumference of your child's head, just above the eyebrows. This Thousand Jr. helmet fits heads from 49-53cm using the built-in dial adjuster.

Once you've got your helmet, make small adjustments to dial in the fit using the integrated dial fit system. Simply turn the dial clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. Some, or all of the interior pads can also be removed for fit if desired, without affecting safety.
